PI CME Resources

If you are interested in some online resources for PI CME resources here are some to put at the top of your list.

  • The Institute for Healthcare Improvement: www.IHI.org. Lots of interesting projects and free resources.
  • The American Society of Quality: http://www.asq.org/healthcare-use/why-quality/overview.html. Lots of resources that cut across many quality issues in healthcare. A must to visit.
  • The Physicians Institute for Excellence in Medicine: www.physiciansinstitute.org. Resources specific to our interests in PI CME.
  • The National Institute for Quality Improvement in Education: www.niqie.org. A place where you can become integrally involved in a Community of Practice with strong interests in performance improvement. Lots of useful resources as well.
  • Conversations in CME blog. Of course you already know about this since you are reading this.
  • Conversations in CME podcasts. www.ctlassoc.libsyn.com. I host conversations with people doing interesting things in CME including PI CME. Download the MP3 files to your computer, smart phone or PDA and listen to at your convenience.

What resources have you found helpful in your work on PI and PI CME? Share them here and I’ll post them
